leaving a clear track - those 'prongs' should be cut at the base
Maintenance will be minimal on tracks developed as described on the preceding pages. The aims are to consolidate the track, monitor impacts and correct undesirable trends.
Records of change
These should include;
unacceptable visitor impacts
damage to vegetation, habitats and infrastructure
changing natural history features which need consideration
Cut enroaching vegetation
provide an unambiguous sight-line or visual corridor
avoid 'hedging' by pruning back to ground level or to a main branch
